Vietnam Fine Arts Exhibition 2023 took place at Hanoi Museum from December 6 to December 20, 2023. The exhibition displayed 292 works of ideological and artistic value. It covered contemporary life, expressing artist's thoughts and concerns on the reality of life; rich in creative ideas and diversity with different forms of expression and techniques including visual language in many styles.

The Giang Vo military school (Giảng Võ Trường) was an important location of the former Thang Long. It was the site of martial arts learning, tactics training and high level military exercises during feudal dynasties.

On May 18, 2023, the Hanoi Museum held the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Uncle Ho and Hanoi" and the art space "Lotus Calligraphy". These exhibitions were organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with President Ho Chi Minh's Vestige in the Presidential Palace Area and the Cultural Heritage Association of Vietnam on the occasion of the 133rd birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).

On April 18th, the Vietnam Day of People with Disabilities, the Hanoi Museum, in collaboration with the Vun Art Cooperative, organized the opening of the painting exhibition "Fabric Scraps", displaying the artworks designed by people of disabilities and disadvantages.

The victory "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air" proved that the battle of the people's hearts had been won and also affirmed the outstanding and great leadership role of our Party and Government. Shortly afterwards the United States sent representatives to Paris to resume negotiations which would lead to the end of the war. Following many exchanges, the resulting agreement was approved and officially signed on January 27th, 1973 at the Kléber International Conference Center.

The Hanoi Museum is conserving more than 70,000 documents and artifacts of many different types and materials, including a group of National Treasures and typical antiquities through Vietnam's historical dynasties. These are precious cultural heritages, representing the history of thousands of years of development of Thang Long - Hanoi.

Hanoi’s craft villages developed in close association with the history of Thang Long - Hanoi. In the past, the population was mainly indigenous people - craft villages appeared but were still scattered. After King Ly Thai To decided to transfer the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long, people from all over the country rushed to the outskirts of the city to live and work. Both men and women brought with them skills passed on from their parents and grandparents.

Hanoi today is very different from the Hanoi of the past; from its architecture, the streets and it moves on due to the law of life. To nurture love with Hanoi it is necessary to have a good memory and an understanding of traditional culture. Joining hands to preserve and follow suit will form new dynamic and cultural classes of Hanoians, contributing to building a more and more solidly developed capital.
