HANOI ECOLOGICAL REGIONS

Hanoi, located in an area with a very complex geological development history, is the focal point of several tectonic zones representing four characteristic phases of geology. Along with expanding the administrative boundaries, Hanoi has created ecological diversity in the landscape according to different regions. The main environmental areas of Hanoi are the plains, the midlands, the highlands, and the low-lying areas. Hanoi differs according to the unique characteristics of each eco-region.
